Israel Defence Forces (IDF) International Spokesperson Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani sharply contrasted Israel’s military conduct with Iran’s recent aggression, asserting that while Israel targets terror infrastructure with precision, Iran indiscriminately fires missiles at civilian areas.
“Israel conducted precise strikes on terror targets while operating a thousand miles away. Iran fired missiles indiscriminately toward the civilian population,” Shoshani said in a post on X. “One side conducts brave operations and keeps its civilians safe—the other side hides like cowards and targets civilians.”
Condemning Iran’s missile attacks, Shoshani stressed that this should not be viewed solely as Israel’s conflict. “Iranian missiles are aimed at homes, families, children all over Israel. The world can no longer treat this as Israel’s problem alone. Silence is complicity,” he wrote.
He added that millions of Israelis are currently in bomb shelters as Iran continues to launch projectiles. “While we neutralize threats with precision, Iran aims at the entire country. Another wave of attack is heading toward our people,” he warned.
Earlier today, Israeli Air Force fighter jets bombed two Iranian airbases near Hamadan and Tabriz, with the latter reportedly “destroyed,” according to the IDF. In addition to these, dozens of Iranian air force assets were targeted, including missile launchers, drones, and air defense systems.
Following Iran’s attacks, Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency response service, confirmed that at least 35 civilians have been injured.
The IDF emphasized, “Iran launched multiple ballistic missiles toward Israel in the past hours. The IDF cannot, and will not, allow Iran to attack our civilians.”
